Port Budget

 

The Poulsbo Port District is required by Washington State law to establish an operating budget on an annual basis. Port District residents are encouraged to participate in budget cycle planning.

The process consists of multiple steps, some of which are dictated by the Revised Code of Washington and include:

• An initial presentation of the proposed budget.

• Port Commission adoption of the preliminary budget by September 15 of each year.

• A public hearing and Port Commission adoption of final budget by the first Wednesday, following the first Monday, in October.

Public input is welcome throughout the process.
