The Port of Poulsbo (“Port District”) Commissioners have issued this formal Notice of Vacancy for filling the District 12 position on the Port District Board of Commissioners. This Notice of Vacancy provides 15 days’ notice of the following nominees by the Port District Board of Commissioners: Amy Kurle & William (Bill) Ortyn.
This Notice also commences an open period for registered voters who reside within the boundaries of the Port District to nominate additional persons for consideration for the vacant position. Residents can submit names for additional nominations by emailing the Port Manager at james.weaver@portofpoulsbo.com.
Deadline: Nominations will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on September 8, 2026.

Notice of the Port of Poulsbo Commissioner's Public
Hearing for Consideration of the Port's 2027 Operating
Budget and Update to the Port's Comprehensive Scheme
of Harbor Improvements.
Pursuant to RCW 53.35.020 and 53.20.020, the Port of
Poulsbo Commission has prepared the Port's 2027 preliminary
budget. The preliminary budget shall be considered by
the Commission in a public meeting on September 17, 2026
and in one more public session on October 1, 2026.
The Commission will hold a public hearing on amending the
Port's Comprehensive Scheme of Harbor Improvements,
and consideration of the Port's 2027 Budget on September
17, 2026 and in one more public session on October 1,
2026.
The Commission will meet on October 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m.
to adopt the Port's final 2027 budget for the Port of
Poulsbo for the calendar year and to amend its Comprehensive
Scheme of Harbor Improvements. Any person may
appear at the hearing and be heard for or against any part
of the Budget. Upon completion of said hearing, the board
will fix and adopt the 2027 Budget.

persons at the Port's Main Office:
